For each product sold through the online portal of Easymeat, Venky’s shall pay about 15% commission to Easymeat. This is beside the upfront listing fess for Venky’s.
“We have focused on sourcing raw, fresh meat until now. Through the partnership with Venky’ss, we will get the opportunity to explore the processed and frozen food section as well as receive guidance on these aspects,” said Shiva Sharan, cofounder of EasyMeat.in .
Easy meat was launched in July 2015, and has rapidly increased its area of operations. The company plans to expand its serviced to Begaluru soon. Easymeat is also in talks with the investors to raise its first round of funding. Currently the startup sources the meat from nine national and international suppliers and offers up to 90 products. The meat-delivery startup, which depends on an inventory-based model, stores approximately 50 kg of meat on a daily basis.
