Online social networking site Twitter has acquired an employee feedback tool named ‘sPeer’s founded by the former Salesforce COO, George Hu.

During his 13 year career at Salesforce, Hu saw Salesforce grow from a scrappy startup to one of the largest cloud software companies ever. But even with all the success, there was one area he felt lacked a more standardized approach: employee feedback. That’ss why he’ss built ‘sPeer’s, a workplace feedback app that lets employees send real-time comments and performance reviews directly to one another.

The employees were able to monitor their performance levels continuously based on the reviews that they were receiving from co-workers themselves.

However, no official information has been provided with regards to what will happen to ‘sPeer’s going forward. The company website only says, “We’re excited to now be a part of Twitter. We’sve been focused on creating more honest conversations and we’sre looking forward to supporting the efforts of the world’ss greatest conversation platform.”
